热闹耶!古晋节

I told myself that i will not update my blog until August. I was trying to punish myself cuz' i got a lousy result, and i swear to myself things like that will never happen again next semester, next next next semester and forever. I hate my lousy result. =.= lower CGPA means my heart is broken.

Well...why don't we just forget about those sad things. Let's talk about our Kuching Festival this year 2010.

Kuching Festival is celebrated every year in August, as to celebrate the declaration of Kuching as a city. The happening stuff such as parade, competitions, stage show, exhibition, food fair, etc…is held in the city, for the whole month. More information about Kuching festival, please read this.

Just now 7 of us which including Kh, Lester, Calvyn, Fish, Hiroshi, Elrich and Sky went to the food fair. We went there quite early, which was around 6.15pm (most people just started to sell their food by that time). Also, the arrangement of Kuching Festival this year is slightly different compare to the previous year. I’m glad that this was the first time went to the Kuching food fair with Swinburne's Friends. Lolz No raining Yeah!

Here, you can eat a lot of food that you normally won’t think of having. There’s a variety of food, local Malay food, Chinese food, Japanese food, Korean food, Thai food and even Pinoy food…Hey, it’s a food fair!

The most common thing in this food fair is BBQ food or deep fried food. Tasty yet unhealthy.

Oyster pancake is favored by a lot of people. But the price...Sien lo ho.

I still remember i saw this stall last year. NO, is every year! The signboard “Special Rice Roll” attracted Me and Lester.

Very nice decorated rice ball, and looks delicious. I promised myself i will buy it on this Saturday night again. It is the best food in Kuching Festival. No regret at all! Perfect...
Original special rice roll is RM5. Expensive? ask your wallet first.

I didn't eat any Sio Bees tonight. I just realized that i missed it because of my forgetfulness. No problem, buying "you" this Saturday night for sure. LOL

This is something which we must not miss out when going to the food fair. Yea, fried ice-cream. Golden crust bread outside, cold and sweet ice-cream inside. Again, i can't eat this because of a special reason. Gyming month which means 0% oil in progress inside my body.

This is what we called "草袋饭". I ordered Ham flavor but don't know why she gave me vegetarian flavor. Anyway it was delicious though. Not that bad as i thought.

I’m 70% satisfied with this year’s food fair. So many choices but the food is more expensive compare to the past few years. I heard that the stall rental for this year is higher than the previous years.

BTW, I still missing my 猪肠粉 la. even though it was just plain and tasteless.
